The statement of the day

"The political discourse which makes references to class differences, constitutes an outdated political discourse which cannot give answers to the problems of the modern Greek society" (Dora Bakogiannis, NET, 6 September 2009)

Questions: Are there no socio-economic differences in modern Greek society? Are the problems of the modern Greek society unrelated to the socio-economic conditions of the Greek citizens? Has the Greek society effectuated a post-materialist revolution, or is this "liberal" "post-materialist" discourse used to cover the inefficiencies in the governmental performance and responsiveness, as well as the total lack of institutional control?
